We did have to take this detour looking for place to eat and we find out about this restaurant we were lucky the food was great and I love thier grill veggies it was so good that I will have to return to Woodies very soon. The place was busy due to the visitors traveling for the leaves changing color. Ok I did return and the food and service still good

Everything we have had here is really good. My favorite is the melt in your mouth steak and I Ioaded baked potato with salad bar. Love Mrs Holly. She's always making sure service is excellent the blooming onion is another one of my favorites. You won't be disappointed eating here!

We visited Woody’s today, as we were looking for another restaurant, and boy were we glad we did. I had one piece of catfish with a baked sweet potato and green beans and the hubby had a bbq pork sandwich with fries. Both means were delicious and very filling. The staff was very attentive, friendly and prompt. We will definitely return

Great little restaurant. My wife ordered the seafood and I ordered the country fried stake. The Red Snapper was fresh and also the Shrimp. In addition, the shrimp were large. The fresh homemade snow crabcakes tasted very good. The Blooming Onion was perfect and not greasy. The country fried state was good as well as the mashed potatoes. We will defiantly return.

Great food! We had the catfish filets and country fried steak and everything was really good. Worth locating since it is a little ways outside of Ft. Payne!

Genuinely surprised and impressed on how southern hospitality and food blended very well here. From the first bite to the last, everything was made to perfection and tasted like it came from grandma's kitchen, the BBQ burger not only met my expectations but could very easily be one of the best burgers I've had in a very long time. Also if you haven't tried them I recommend the homemade pies, you won't be disappointed, we will definitely be dining here again soon.
